BERTIS

AI Driven Proteomics Technology Company,

BERTIS

By integrating AI, bioinformatics, and proteomics technologies,
we search for key biomarkers to detect cancers and various diseases.

Diseases are the biggest threats to our healthy lives.
Proteomic information offer signs of disease manifestation.
Bertis is committed to developing proteomics-based clinical solutions,
enhanced by AI technology, to fight diseases.
Since its incorporation in 2014, Bertis, a leading proteomics company in Asia,
has combined its unrivaled proteomics research capabilities with AI and bioinformatics technologies.
Using our proprietary DEEP platform to analyze large-scale protein data generated by mass spectrometry,
we support drug development for pharmaceutical and biotech companies (PASS)
and provide blood-based early cancer diagnostic tests (CHECK).

Promoting early diagnosis for major diseases is indeed the most effective way to provide medical benefits to people with limited resources. This is the reason why we started by developing a breast cancer screening solution based on blood tests, which are readily accessible in the clinical fields.
Dong-young Noh,
Co-CEO
Successful commercialization of proteomics-based diagnostic solutions with AI
Bertis has unrivaled technological prowess in the field of quantitative proteomics.
We have a core technology platform that cover the overall processes starting from the discovery of protein biomarkers to the development of diagnostic solutions. Based on this, research and development are being conducted on diagnostic solutions for cancers and major diseases. While global proteomics companies do not have commercially available disease diagnosis products to date, Bertis successfully commercialized “MASTOCHECK,” a breast cancer blood test that utilizes proteomics technologies, in 2019 for the first time in the world.
The significance of proteomics technology can be seen in its ability to provide early diagnosis and tailored treatment of diseases more economically at a higher quality. To implement and maximize the potential of proteomics technologies in actual clinical settings, we strive to advance bioinformatics and software technologies to the cutting edge and actively apply them to the research and development of new drugs and innovative therapeutic agent.
Seung-man Han,
Co-CEO
Pursuing to maximize clinical utility that innately embedded within proteomics technology
Bertis has been dedicated to advancing bioinformatics and software technologies to maximize the utility of proteomics in diagnosing and precision medicine. Based on these state-of-the-art technologies and expertise that have successfully commercialized proteomics-based solutions, we are promoting collaborations in research and development with top-tier domestic and international partners as well as providing analysis solutions that can increase the R&D success rate to allow more active development and introduction of new drugs and innovative therapeutic agents.
